ABOUT OUR TOWELS
We remember the days of having to pack up early to move on to our next destination and amongst our luggage a wet, soggy, smelly heavy towel.
We started researching the different microfiber fabrics and bought up every different type we could find, tested them out and picked the good points from each type. Thus our towels were born.
It had to be compact, lightweight, absorb water and dry fast, it had to have a hook for hanging, it had to be antibacterial to stop that horrible wet towel smell and prevent mold. We wanted colorful and it had to be extra large, Not everybody is skinny (coming from Mum). We also wanted a smaller towel to use as a bath mat when using public showers.
Micro Miracle Microfiber Towels
COMPACT
Our towels fold to 8” x 8” and come with a great nylon and mesh carry bag that also has a handy carabiner hook, so
if your towel isn’t quite dry, pack it up and hook it onto the outside of your backpack.
HUGE
The large towel is 30” x 60” and the smaller towel is 14” x 21” the smaller towel can be used as a bath mat, hair towel, hand towel, cleaning and drying dishes even.
ABSORBENT
This fabric will absorb like a sponge, and removes moisture from your body in seconds by dabbing yourself dry.
SMOOTH
We chose the microfiber suede fabric for its smooth and soft texture. The fabric is 80/20 polymide.
ANTIBACTERIAL
Treated with an antibacterial solution to prevent mould and that wet towel smell.
QUICK DRYING
Dry yourself at least 4 times quicker than traditional cotton towels.
USES
Of course as a bath towel, but also big enough for a beach towel and the sand just shakes off.
Great for motor homes and caravans, boats and let’s not forget the gym and yoga, use at the swimming pool, and great for the kids school swimming towel.
We also have many customers who now have replaced their normal cotton everyday towels at home with the microfiber towels.
WASHING
For the first couple of washes, wash in cold water with no fabric softener on their own and air dry. Do not use a clothes dryer.
You can very easily hand wash whilst travelling or machine wash if you have that luxury. Never use fabric softeners.
Kristin MI travel as much as I can but I’m a total germaphobe so, yep, I bring my own towel when I travel. Before I bought this towel I would bring my waffle hair towel but it didn’t dry my skin at all. I absolutely love my new travel towel! It’s so compact for such a large towel and it even includes a bath mat. Obviously this germaphobe wouldn’t put a bath mat on the floor of a hotel room and then pick it up so I use the bath mat as a smaller hand and face towel. They are both great! I’ve been considering replacing my home bath towels with these microfiber towels.
BineyI’m a big girl and this wraps completely around me and then some. The feel of it is so soft, I almost want to not use it in fear it might change in some way. 🙂 I’ll have to follow back after a month or so to say how well its kept. Otherwise, fantastic buy, very portable and who doesn’t love blue.
CaseyI love this towel, a bit weird of a feel once you use it the first time when you’ve never used one, I was shocked at how much it dried me off and how quickly it dries, I purchased for my upcoming travel to Australia, save money and bring your own towel! now if I can only get it back from my girlfriend! She’s going to have to buy her own, it dries her hair so well, so she loves pink I think I will just buy her one… Also like the fact I can hang it on my bag and it dries super fast, and also has a button loop to hang basically anywhere you can find.
ABOUT THE PEOPLE BEHIND MICRO MIRACLE
We are a small family business run by Mum and Dad, Deb and Steve Small and son Wade.
When our son started following in our footsteps of backpack travelling on a very strict budget, we bought him a “Microfiber Travel Towel” it was flimsy and badly sewn, but it planted an idea in our minds.
